Bird Feeder of Note!

All the Grade 4's were told they had to design and make a bird feeder. They were not allowed to spend more than R10.00($1.50). We managed to find everything we needed at home and not a penny was spent! Here's the proud owner of a bright and beautiful bird feeder.......

A first!

TanziPanzi has drawn many stick figures........ but this is the first time she has created a composition and filled the entire page.
I love the monochrome effect! I just LOVE it!


Perhaps a little artist in the making..... well it certainly runs in the family. My Mom is an Art teacher who specialises in Water colours. I took Art and completed a 4 year Architecural Design Diploma.

Valentines Cake for Daddy!

My very special son CoolDude loves creating things. For days he has harped on about 'the special thing he has been making me for Valentines Day'. He was so proud to present me with this beautiful picture frame..........

TanziPanzi, my sweet little 3 year old, is mad about creating stuff! And I am SO pleased about this, as I love crafts and making all sorts of goodies.
Hubby was away for 4 days last week. Tanzi was obviously missing him, as she came to me and said "I need to make Daddy a card!"



She created this, totally by herself..........

Fabric placemats

Last night I was determined not to watch a movie, but to do something creative! I scrounged in the cupboards and found two different fabrics. With our new home in mind,..... I thought it would be nice to make some fun placemats for the outside table. I LOVE the happy colours!

Summer

Summer always comes glistening and hot. It brings with it joy and happiness. Everyone is always waiting...... waiting for the first sign of Summer. It is like an elegant cloud, it comes and goes as it pleases, but always at the right time. It brings with it rain and waters weary plants. It can be harsh and whither them too. When we are experiencing warm sunny weather, other countries are freezing cold. When Summer leaves, there comes drier weather, but the scorching air goes with it. Though we may be sorry to see Summer go, the next place is filled with joy!

Cake anyone?

The cake I made for CoolDudes 9th Party. He is a lover of fast cars and often reminds me that his first car is going to be a red Ferrari!

Happy Birthday TanziPanzi!

I made my sweetie-pie a My Little Pony cake.

Easy......yet effective!

My daughter loves stickers, so I wanted to incorporate them into her daily learning.

On a white piece of paper I designed a simple pattern with felt tip pens.

Using an assortment of coloured round stickers she covered the dots I had drawn.... and voila! She was very proud of her creation.

This is a great task for fine motor skills and eye/hand co-ordination.

Tanzi's first school day..........

This week my youngest(almost 3) joined us in the classroom. We are doing the Letterland Curriculum. I photostated the "Annie Apple" page, coloured it in, stuck it to cardboard, and made it into a puzzle. She loved it!

We are also learning about "The Creation". So I made these laminated cards to teach her about order/sequencing. Read Genesis 1.
