Getting in a little ME TIME .......

We have been on our summer holiday for a month now ..... it's been great ..... not terribly relaxing for me, as I have been the events co-ordinator and delegated driver! But I have had the odd precious moment to craft ...... one of my favourite things to do!

I have just completed this mirror for a friend's daughter. She had her room made over for Christmas and I think she is going to love it!

Patience and perserverance are virtues .......

....... having them paid off ......... look at what MrGee and Miss Tanzi built ...... I was suitably impressed!

CoolDude and Miss Tanzi had a combined family birthday do, as their B-days are 4 days apart. CoolDude loves anything American so he asked for the US flag. Miss Tanzi voiced that she wanted anything pink ..... so voila !!!! hehe

Tigger our cat who's small but fat,
likes getting rid of a pesky rat.
All the rats start to scat,
when they see our handsome cat.

Tigger our cat loves Tom and Jerry,
which makes him destructive but fills him with merry.
After that, Tigger goes to play,
under the sun's shining ray.

Tiger our cat, short and hairy,
thinks he's tough, mean and scary.
Now whenever you read of Tigger and Pooh,
always think of our cat too.

Thomas the Tank Engine!

My cousin's little boy adores "Mommas" the Tank Engine ! So as a birthday present I made him a cake. (Toy included.)



Lisa asked if I would make a "Pin the smoke on Thomas" poster . The kid who got the smoke closest to Thomas funnel won a prize.

My Mothers Day Card !

I love it !!! It is SO original and definitely a Gibbons card, as it is all done on the computer!!The three of them stayed up late (I had already gone to sleep) and created this together!

History, people say it's a mystery.
I wonder why it makes me cry ?

so much to learn about when you review.

Genghis and Kublai the ones who would cube ya,
Make our poor leader look like a drooler!

I've read too much I now have a stitch,
anymore and I might just ditch!

Description of a Zebra

The prettiest animal is a zebra. Black stripes run down it's body and it has the cleanest fur on an animal. It's legs are so strong you don't want to be behind it when it kicks! It's eyes glimmer in the daylight like polished diamonds. It's tail is like a fury jersey and it's mane runs free in the air .... it goes everywhere.(Cooldude wanted to say .... "like your girlfriends long hair!" hehehe) It's gallop is so peaceful, you will fall asleep. The Zebra's eyelashes are so huge they could catch bugs. Last but not least, it's teeth are so big, the zebra considers an apple to be a mere crumb!
